Plasma and LED TV on Rent in Delhi NCR
A television is the right choice more often than people assume. Below about sixty guests, or anywhere the lights need to stay on, a large screen beats a projector on clarity and takes a fraction of the setup time. We rent screens from 32 to 85 inches across Delhi NCR, delivered on stands with the cabling sorted.
Screen or projector
Televisions win in lit rooms. They are self illuminating, so daylight and overhead lighting do not wash them out the way they do a projected image. They also switch on instantly and need no focus, alignment or throw distance.
Projectors win on size. Past about 85 inches a television becomes impractical to move and expensive to hire, while a projector and screen will fill a wall for less. The crossover point in practice is audience size: above roughly sixty people looking at one display, projection or an LED wall makes more sense.
Sizing for the room
A workable guide for presentations is that the furthest viewer should sit no more than about four times the screen height away, and text should be legible from there. For a 55 inch screen that is roughly three metres, which is a meeting room rather than a hall.
Exhibition stands are the common exception. There the screen is often seen from a metre away by people walking past, so a 43 or 50 inch unit at eye level does more work than something larger placed high up.
Mounting and placement
Screens go out on floor standing trolleys as standard, which need no fixing to the venue and can be repositioned during the event. Trolleys also put the screen at a sensible height, which is where most self arranged setups go wrong. A television on a table is too low for anyone past the second row.
Wall mounting is possible where the venue permits drilling, though most hotels and banquet halls do not. For multi day exhibitions the trolley is usually better anyway, because stands get rearranged.
Where they get booked
Exhibition and trade stands are the largest share, usually several screens for three days. Corporate offices rent for board meetings, interview panels and training rooms. Retail and showroom displays take screens for promotions and product demonstrations.
Events use them as secondary displays, repeating the main stage content for guests seated to the side or in an overflow area. Weddings use them for photo montages where a full projection setup would be excessive, and sports screenings take several around a venue so nobody has a bad seat.
Connections
Everything modern connects over HDMI, and we supply the cable and the adaptors for USB C and Mini DisplayPort laptops. Screens can be driven from a laptop, a media player looping content, or a live feed.
For unattended displays running a video loop all day, a media player is more reliable than leaving a laptop plugged in, since laptops sleep, update and show notifications at the worst moment. Say if that is your use case and we will supply accordingly.
Delivery
Large screens are fragile, heavy and awkward. We deliver, place, connect and test rather than leaving a box. Access matters, so mention lifts, stairs and doorway widths when booking, particularly for the 75 and 85 inch units. Coverage is listed on the areas we serve page.
Running several screens together
Exhibition stands and showrooms usually want more than one screen, and the question that follows is whether they should all show the same thing. Mirrored content is simpler and needs only a splitter. Independent content on each screen needs a player per screen, or one player capable of multiple outputs.
Synchronised playback, where several screens show the same video in step, is harder than it sounds and drifts over a long day unless the players are designed for it. If the effect matters to your stand design, tell us early and we will specify for it. If it does not, mirrored playback from a single source is cheaper and more reliable.
Questions we get asked
What size for a boardroom of twelve?
A 55 or 65 inch screen, depending on table length. Sit at the far end and check the smallest text on a real slide.
Can we get several matching screens?
Yes. Exhibition bookings often take four to six identical units, worth confirming early in trade fair season.
Do they have speakers?
Built in speakers are fine for a small room. For anything larger, take a separate sound system.
Minimum rental period?
One day, with weekly and monthly rates that work out substantially cheaper for exhibitions and office use.
