A Delhi wedding is not one event, it is four or five events in different places with different moods, and the family is expected to enjoy all of them. Each function wants something different

The mehndi is daytime, informal and usually outdoors or in a courtyard. It needs shade, comfortable seating and music at conversational volume. Overpowered sound here is the most common mistake we are asked to fix, because guests are talking, not dancing.

The sangeet is the opposite. Performances mean a stage, proper lighting, cordless microphones that survive being passed around, and a screen for the family video that somebody has been editing until three that morning. This function drives most of the equipment list.

The reception is formal and photographic. Stage lighting has to flatter people on camera, entry music has to be cued precisely, and the speeches need to be audible in a hall that is full and noisy. The wedding ceremony itself usually needs the least technically and the most care about placement, since nothing should sit where it blocks the rituals or the photographer.

What we handle

Decor and staging, seating layouts, entry effects, lighting, sound, and screens where they earn their place. On the technical side we bring our own sound systems, lighting and microphones rather than subcontracting them, and we can put in an LED wall where the venue is large or the daylight makes projection pointless.

We also coordinate with the vendors you have already booked. Most families come to us with a photographer and a caterer chosen, and a good part of our job is making sure those teams have what they need at the right time rather than replacing them.

Outdoor functions and the weather

Lawn and farmhouse weddings across Delhi NCR are lovely and carry real risk. Winter fog affects lighting and projection more than most people expect. Unseasonal rain in the shoulder months has cancelled better plans than ours. Any outdoor function should have a covered fallback for the equipment, decided when you book rather than debated on the day.

Power is the other outdoor variable. Farmhouse supply is often thinner than it looks, and a lighting rig plus a sound system plus caterers' equipment on the same line will trip it. We check load in advance and specify a generator where the numbers do not work.

Working to a real budget

Wedding budgets are finite and get eaten from the edges. Our approach is to spend where guests actually notice: seating comfort, food service flow, whether they can hear the speeches, and how the stage looks in photographs. Those four carry a wedding.

Things that photograph well but nobody experiences are the first place we suggest trimming. We will tell you when an item on the wishlist is unlikely to be noticed, which occasionally loses us the upsell and generally earns the referral.

Timeline

Peak wedding season across Delhi NCR runs from late October to February, with a second stretch around April and May. For dates in those windows, three months of lead time is comfortable and six is better if you have a specific venue in mind. Outside season, six to eight weeks is workable.

Can we book you for only one function?
Yes. Plenty of families handle the wedding themselves and bring us in for the sangeet, which is usually the most technically demanding evening.

Do you work at venues you have not used before?
Yes. We visit beforehand where the venue is new to us, which is the point at which power, access and ceiling height get checked.

Will someone be there through the function?
Yes. Our crew stays for the duration of every function with live sound. Nobody in the family should be operating a mixer at their own wedding.

Can you supply just a projector for the family video?
Of course, and many people do exactly that. A single projector and screen for the sangeet is a common booking.
